2012 Toyota Tundra Review

For the year 2012 the new Toyota Tundra has arrived with a lot of noticeable features like chrome exhaust tip, 18 inch chrome clad wheels, daytime running lights along with heated side mirrors.

The 2012 version Toyota Tundra is a large sized truck that is available in three body styles- Crew Max body, Double Cab, and Regular Cab.

The regular cab vehicle is produced in only one model- Grade, whereas the CrewMax and Double Cab body styles are manufactured and released in 3 models- Limited, SR5, and Grade.

The regular models are packed up with a 4.0 liter V6 engine, which is used for the generation of 266 pound-feet of torque and 236 horsepower.

Both CrewMax and Double cabs have a 4.7 liter V8 engine for generating 266 pound-foot of torsion and 236 horsepower. These two models have an optional 5.7 liter V8 engine too for delivering 401 pound-feet of torque and 381 horsepower.

Salient Features

2012 Tundra Regular Cab body style is featured with a bench seat, 18 inch tires, and a four speaker AM/FM/CD music system. The Crew Cab has a powered adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control, and a 10 speaker JBL music system.

All models of this vehicle are armored with anti-lock disc brakes, side airbags for the front seats, a stability control system, and side curtain air bags for the full truck.

Tundra for 2012 appears similar to a large truck with headlamps and a large front grille. Moreover, the vehicle has decent safety equipments that include high performance safety items, which are integrated with latest technology.
