Cadillac XLR Luxury Roadster

XLR is a luxury roadster that delivers true performance with roots. The vehicle was discontinued after 2009. It featured Signature design cues like bold front grille, tail lamps, vertical headlamps, and body-side character line.

Caddy XLR is featured with a real-time magnetic-fluid-based damping suspension, which frequently adapts to various road conditions.

It is propelled by a 4.6-L North-star V8 engine that delivers 320 horsepower, mated to a 6-speed auto transmission equipped with manual shift mode. The power-train features are unique to sports cars to achieve 50/50 weight distribution, and transmission that is mounted in rear.

Suspension

Stability control system in the vehicle integrates traction control, XLR’s braking, steering, and suspension systems. It is the world’s first vehicle to receive Magnetic Ride Control, along with smooth and well-controlled body motion. XLR is transformed from stylish coupe to exhilarating roadster.

We feel that XLR still fails in tackling turns in more athletic way when compared to its European contenders.
